Wow. Okay.. haven't updated in a long time. I was busy finishing up my first year of college. Today was my last day of classes and now I'm just awaiting my one final for Linguistics which is on Tuesday. My dad and brother Bryan are picking me up on Wednesday morning at 9, which means we'll get back home around 4:30ish. Yay!! So excited. Me and Diana have already packed up most of our things. Our room looks so pathetic now. The walls are all bare and everything :( Oh well.. I'm just glad my first year is over with and that summer is soon approaching. I'm in need of real relaxation time. I can't wait to hang out with my brothers and spend time with Mike. Go to the beach with him, eat at my dads restur., meet his family, have movie times, spend nights laying on the grass staring at the stars.... oh what a fun summer :) Anyways... my classes went well this quarter. My predicted grades are an A+ in Writing, a C+ in Linguistics, and A-/B+ in Sociology. Sounds good to me. I've been in contact with this lady who is head of the psychology department here at UCSC and she advised me on what classes I should be taking if I want to fulfill my psychology major and then go on to grad and med school. She advised me to get a pre-med advisory on top of talking with a psychology advisor. Isn't that so awesome?!?!?! A PRE-MED advisor!!!! *sighs* My dream. I am going to be a doctor. You just wait. Yes.. 12 more years of schooling and I will be Dr. Garcia Child's Psychiatrist. COOL!!!!! Oh I'll be so happy. So yeah.. I'm also in the process of declaring my major as psychology. I have half of the forms filled out and plan on finishing them when I come back in the fall. My IB scores haven't gotten here yet and I'm kinda wondering how that's gonna work, cause I might get credits in some classes and be bumped up to a high sophmore or junior. When I come back in the fall I'm going to talk to the EAP (Educational Abroad Program) cause I want to go to Italy next summer and intensively study Italian. It's expensives are much cheaper than staying here too. I just realized it costs $15, 672 dollars for one year here compared to some countries tuition of $10,000 something. So that means I'd get some kind of money back which would be cool. Man. Planninng my future is fun. I like knowing what I'm going to be doing in the following years. Anyways. I'm really sleepy from cleaning my room and packing stuff up and I really want to take a nap with Mike. Hmmm. But he's away right now on AIM. Sooo.. I guess I'll give him like 20 more minutes for him to come back or else I'll just take a nap alllll alone.
