as you fade away

So I went to the Vans Warped Tour yesterday at Cal State Long Beach! It was so fucking awesome. I went with my brother Chris. We left the house around 10 and got there at 12:30. I was wearing a black tee shirt that said "U...The Used" on it, that Mike bought for me the night before. I've never seen so many punky people before in my life. It was so awesome. Right when we got there we walked to the stages and we saw The Ataris playing. I was sooo pumped up. They only played one song though, "San Dimas" I called Mike and was all "Do you hear them?!?!" and he said "yeah". Then right after like a couple of feet away we heard screaming and then The Used started playing!!!!!!!! They were sooooooooo cool. They played a whole set of like 4 songs. People were going crazy pushing each other and jumping up and down. Me and Chris were so close. We got some awesome pictures. Bert from The Used jumped from the speakers out into the crowd. Then after all of their songs they started saying how Sum 41 was getting ready to play on the next stage next to them. They made fun of Sum 41 by playing a piece of "Fat Lip" on their guitars. It was so funny. Then we looked and Sum 41 was on the stage and people just started going crazy. They played "Fat Lip", "Still Waiting" and the "Hell Song" plus some older songs. They were alright to watch. Me and Chris decided to walk around. We saw Thrice signing some things. I wanted to get them to sign something but the line was way too long. Then we watched From Autumn to Ashes play. I waited an hour in line to get Simple Plan to sign some magazines. I got Simple Plans autographs!!!!!!!! And I shook their hands!!!!! HAHA! It was so awesome. Their one of Mikes favorite bands and I asked him on Thursday what he wanted and he said a shirt from Simple Plan. Well not only did I buy him a shirt... but I got him their autographs too!!!!! I called Mike up when I was in line and was like "guess what?" and he was all "uh what?" and I was all "I'm getting Simple Plan to sign something for you RIGHT now!!!!!" and he was so excited. I was standing next to the girl from MTV.....the asian girl...Susan Pak or something like that. After seeing Simple Plan we continued to walk around. We watched some people on the half pipe. Chris got a picture of Steve Cavaler. Some old skater. LOL. Then we watched my new fabvorite band play! Matchbook Romance! They played on the Volcom Stage....they were sooooo good. If you haven't heard any of their songs, I suggest you get some of them. Specially "Greatest Fall of all time" NICE. So we were rocking out watching them... then we walked to the next stage and watched Pennywise!!! They played the Fuck the Police song. Everyone had their middle finger up and were jumping up and down. Me and Chris were stuck in the middle because there were so many people behind us. I got my left arm spray painted by some guy at this Electric booth. It's this hot pink design... it's still on there. LOL. I bought so much stuff. I bought a black Volcom shirt. A gray Volcom truckers hat. An Ataris tee shirt. A Simple Plan shirt for Mike. A Matchbook Romance cd. Plus tons of stickers. Haha.. man it was soo hot there. My face is all red and sore. My hair is all light now. I look like a total skater.. all punked out. LOL. But man...the Warped Tour is the funnest thing you could go to. We saw like 20 great bands up close and everyone was just so chill. I'll never forget The Used...Matchbook Romance..The Ataris...and Simple Plan. So awesome awesome awesome awesome :) Well I'm gonna take a shower. I'm very hot and I need to wash this hot pink spray paint off my arm. LOL.

I have an interview on Wednesday at Starbucks at 1 to see if I want to work with Excel Vartec Telecommunications Firm.... Coooool huh?! I'm excited!!! I'm so pumped up. Let's hope it's what I want and if they want me! Hehe.
